Today Wednesday Jan. 6th I am 37 weeks pregnant! At 37 weeks the baby is now considered FULL TERM!! That means if she were to be born today, her lungs would be fully mature, and ready to adjust to life outside the womb, even though my due date is 3 weeks away.She now weighs about 6 1/3lbs, and measures a bit over 19 inches long head to heel (the length of a stalk to Swiss Chard??). Many babies have a full set of hair at birth, anywhere from 1/2 inch long to 1 1/2 inches. We, of course, can't wait to see what/who she looks like.
So everyone be on stand by, we never know when she will decide to make her appearance. The anticipation is killing me.
In honor of Baby Girl Wertz, have a stalk of swiss chard ???
P.S. No we have not decided on a name yet. We have 2 that we like. We are waiting until we see her and then we will decide. So many people are asking and a lot of them think we already know. But we don't. Remember this is a very hard decision! :) But we will all know soon enough.
